Eddie turned off the shower and reached for a towel, casually drying himself off. He made a point to clean himself thoroughly, removing any residual evidence of his recent solo activity. With a refreshed feeling, he stepped over to the mirror and began inspecting his face, lightly prodding at some minor imperfections.

Engaging in casual conversation, he called out to Isabella, "How was your workout, babe?"

There was no reply from beyond the bathroom door.

Undeterred, he tried again, "Did you work up a good sweat?" His voice echoed slightly against the bathroom tiles, but still, there was no response.

With a hint of playfulness, he suggested, "Maybe you'd like to jump in the shower and give me a little show?"

Unfazed by the lack of response, Eddie shrugged it off and slipped into his robe. He continued to dry his hair as he exited the bathroom, making his way into the bedroom with a sense of routine. As he walked through the house, drying himself off, he casually glanced around, looking for Isabella.

However, his casual demeanor abruptly stopped when he entered the living room. There, on the coffee table, sat the open laptop, displaying a frozen image that captured Isabella and Andre in a compromising, intimate moment. Eddie's heart began to race, a mixture of shock, disbelief, and panic washing over him.

Frantically, he wondered about Isabella's whereabouts. "Has she left in a fury?" he thought, his mind racing with a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. Desperate for answers, he quickly moved to the window, lifting the blind to peer outside. To his growing dismay, he saw that her car was no longer in the driveway.

The realization hit him hard. The implications of what he had just seen on the screen, combined with Isabella's absence, filled him with a tumultuous blend of confusion, anger, and a deep sense of betrayal. The quietness of the house now seemed to amplify the gravity of the situation, leaving Eddie alone with his racing thoughts and the stark reality of the scene displayed on the laptop.
